Hi my name is Malcolm,
My sense is you would like not only to understand why certain foods are good for you and others are not, but also to elevate your skills around preparing easy, healthy, delicious foods you and your family will love.
I would love to share with you what I have learned from my experience working in the field of food and nutrition for close to 20 years.
I know that you are already doing a lot right, and that a big part of what you’re seeking is new ideas and ways to nourish those around you – your child, parent or a partner.
My goal is to provide you insight into a variety of topics that range from the practical to the philosophical so that you can gain the inspiration and confidence for your own health journey, and are empowered with new life skills that you can simply and easily put into action.
The approach I live and teach is that there is no one food or diet that works for all.
My work is about expanding your perceptions about food and nutrition and to help you recreate your relationship to food.
It is a journey to know how to best nourish yourself and your loved ones. The methods, tips and tools you will pick up are born from my own successes as a father, chef, and nutritionist.
In order for me to help you be successful, I see my role as someone who offers practical, accessible and non- dogmatic advice. I share a mix of “how-to” information along with personal, historical and scientific references that will support a deeper understanding of food and nutrition.
Those who I have helped, either through a conversation, a class or a video describe my style and approach as practical, enlightening and inspiring. They also appreciate the little bit of humour I’ll often add to keep it light and make the learning fun.
